LEFTISTS SUPPORT MOTHER WHO MURDERED HER OWN CHILDREN

Lindsay Clancy, a young mother from Duxbury Massachusetts, has been dominating the headlines in recent weeks.  She is accused of murdering her own three children due to a psychotic break after a long bout with postpartum depression. The story is truly horrible.  While her husband was out running some household errands, Lindsay corralled her children into the basement of their home.  Lindsay states that she was hearing voices that told her to kill her children.  She took exercise bands and wrapped them around the necks of the kids, strangling them to death one by one.  After the children were dead, Lindsay attempted suicide with a knife and proceeded to throw herself out of a window.  

A truly terrifying event that should shake any parent to their core.  How could someone do something so evil?  It harkens back to the case of “Andrea Yates”.  For those who have taken any course work on psychology, you should be familiar with Ms. Yates’ case from 2001.  It is a very similar situation.  Ms. Yates stated she heard voices that told her to kill the kids after a bout with postpartum depression symptoms. Ms. Yates drowned her kids in a bathtub, and pleaded insanity later in court.  Lindsay is doing the same now; entering a plea of innocence due to insanity.  

What makes this case even more terrible, outside the death of children, is the widespread support from leftist mothers who are now idolizing Lindsay Clancy as a hero.  They view her as a beacon of hope that is spreading awareness on postpartum depression.  They even go as far as to say the husband is at fault for the deaths; due to his lack of support for Lindsay.  It sounds crazy, but don’t take my word for it.  Here are some direct quotes from mothers who have taken to social media in support of filicide.  

“Everyone of us who have roots that go back to the Salem witch trials, we are freeing our ancestral bloodline by coming together for Lindsay Clancy.”

These quotes are jarring to say the least, but they illustrate the general consensus on social media surrounding Lindsay Clancy and her crimes.  The left views her as an advocate, not a murdering psycho.  In fact, leftist mothers taking to social media is the least of what has happened surrounding her trial.  As of the time this article is being written, the trial is still in full swing.  The jury is in the heat of deliberation and will be releasing their verdict in the coming days.    

However, we now will shift our view to what is happening physically outside the court house.  Hundreds of liberal mothers line the road as Lindsay Clancy is driven into court each day.  They hold signs in support of her, stating they are proud of her.  They cheer and clap as she is transported to her murder trial.  The cognitive dissonance is astounding.  How could you ever claim to be a loving mother, and simultaneously cheer on a woman who murdered her own children?  It goes even further than this though.  News sources such as CBS have filmed these cheering mothers. And the cherry on top: the cheering mothers are, in many cases, holding their own infants in their arms as they cheer.  Mothers holding their babies as they cheer on a mother who murdered her own baby.  How disgusting. Check the sources for a video of this exact thing occurring. 

As the trial comes to a close, we will see what the ultimate verdict will be.  Despite the protest of the women outside, and on social media, one thing is clear.  This trial was never to see if Lindsay actually killed her kids or not.  This trial is to determine if she was insane at the time of the murder.  For all those who say the husband did it and not Lindsay, even Lindsay herself says she killed the kids.  Her defense is that she was not mentally well at the time, but that she did in fact kill her own children.  With that in mind, all we can do is hope that justice is served.  Also, that these leftists who cheer on a murderer can gain some perspective and realize the error of their ways.
