CATHOLIC FAMILY LOSES DAUGHTER OVER TRANS IDEOLOGY

In Massachusetts, a local Catholic family has lost custody of their daughter due to them “not affirming her transgender identity”.  The parents, Joseph and Arlene Kutzko, spoke out on this issue on a podcast to help raise awareness of their situation.  On the podcast: “Lighthouse Faith”, the family highlighted some terrible or horrifying details of the situation.  This is indeed a battle in the court for their 17 year old daughter: Sophie.  DCF (department of children and families) removed Sophie from her loving home back in 2024 (when she was only 15) due to abuse allegations.  What were those allegations? Not affirming her identity as trans.

According to the podcast interview with her parents:

“In December 2024, the Department of Children and Families (DCF) removed the then 15-year-old from her home because her parents, Joseph and Arlene Kutzko, would not recognize their daughter as a boy due to their faith–an identity change they allege staff at Algonquin Regional High School initiated in secret.”

So not only is the government forcing a child away from her family over politics, but the local public school is also in on it?  We have all seen the videos of “pride month” celebrations and “drag queen story hour” in our public schools.  But now, it would seem the leftists embedded within the education system wish to take it a step further.  That is, secretly transitioning your children while at school. On top of this, but now you can even get your children taken away by the State Government if you disagree with the transition.  That may be the most predatory form of child abuse I have ever heard of.  Indoctrinate your children while you are at work, and then kidnap them if you disagree; all courtesy of the state.   

According to her parents:

“Sophie’s high school in the town of Northborough exposed their daughter to “LGBTQ teachings in topics that conflict with our Catholic beliefs” and eventually counseled her on her own gender transition, the parents claimed.

During the interview, the parents even go on to say that they had no idea that DCF was called in regards to their ‘abuse’ of Sophie.  This call was allegedly made by the school that transitioned her to a transgender.  It harkens back to 1984’s “wrong speech” and “thought crimes”.  George Orwell is rolling in his grave.  To make it even worse, Joseph, Sophie’s father, stated in an interview that he had no idea she was being taken away “until she was already gone… it was like a tornado”.  

Somehow, it still gets worse.  According to the podcast interview, the parents go on to say that:

“DCF has housed their daughter in a boys’ dormitory, stripped away her Catholic faith by denying her Sunday Mass, and put her on birth control and psychiatric drugs. As the family fights DCF’s court attempt to administer testosterone and demands a full psychological evaluation for Sophie…”

The state is forcing a 17 year old girl (15 at the time she was taken) to sleep with boys, deny her faith, and force her to take drugs to transition her to a male.  What kind of horror story is this?  This is an American state government, not some cold communist prison in the East.  If you are a resident of Massachusetts, please reach out to your local representatives about this horrid case.  It is up to you to make your voice heard and protect future children from the same fate.
