WASHINGTON (TNND) — White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is pregnant with her second child — a girl due in May — and her fellow staff members gathered at a MAGA-themed baby shower in her honor.
Photos circulating online show Leavitt wearing a pink floral dress and standing with a group of women in front of a sign that read “Sprinkle with love.”
The event was held on Sunday at President Trump’s northern Virginia golf club, according to the New York Post.
The media outlet said guests included nearly 50 White House officials and “other Trumpworld figures.” Among them were Attorney General Pam Bondi and D.C. U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro, just to name a few.
The Post said the Trump administration “is undergoing something of a baby boom,” as Katie Miller, who is the wife of Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, Samantha Blair, who is the wife of Deputy Chief of Staff James Blair, and Hayley Harrison, who is first lady Melania Trump’s chief of staff, are also pregnant.
In December 2025, Leavitt announced that she and her husband, Nick, are expecting a baby girl. She shared the news on social media the day after Christmas.
“The greatest Christmas gift we could ever ask for — a baby girl coming in May 2026,” Leavitt wrote on Instagram at the time.
The post included a carousel of photos, including one of Leavitt wearing a white sweater dress while standing in front of a Christmas tree. Her hands were placed over her baby bump.
Other photos showed her sonogram image, as well as Nick, and their son, Nico, who was born in July 2024.
“My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother,” she wrote. “My heart is overflowing with gratitude to God for the blessing of motherhood, which I truly believe is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth.”
Leavitt is the first pregnant White House press secretary in U.S. history. She said she plans to return to her job following maternity leave.
Leavitt, who is 28 years old, is also the youngest press secretary in history.
