Fox News reported:

Attorney General Pam Bondi and FBI Director Kash Patel are bringing on Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey as an additional deputy director of the bureau, Fox News Digital has learned.

Bailey will serve as a co-deputy director, alongside Deputy Director Dan Bongino, Fox News Digital has learned.

“I am thrilled to welcome Andrew Bailey as Co-Deputy Director of the FBI,” Bondi told Fox News Digital. “He has served as a distinguished state attorney general and is a decorated war veteran, bringing expertise and dedication to service. His leadership and commitment to country will be a tremendous asset as we work together to advance President Trump’s mission.”

“The FBI, as the leading investigative body of the federal government under the Department of Justice, will always bring the greatest talent this country has to offer in order to accomplish the goals set forth when an overwhelming majority of American people elected President Donald J. Trump again,” Patel told Fox News Digital, adding that Bailey will be an “integral part of this important mission” and said he looks forward to “the continued fight to save America together.”

Bailey is a staunch Trump supporter and fought against crooked prosecutors targeting Trump with lawfare.

Recall that last year Andrew Bailey filed a lawsuit against the State of New York, accusing it of an unconstitutional attack on the democratic process through its legal actions against President Donald Trump.

We have to fight back against a rogue prosecutor who is trying to take a presidential candidate off the campaign trail. It sabotages Missourians’ right to a free and fair election.

Stay tuned.

In 2023, Bailey filed a brief at the US Supreme Court to halt Special Counsel Jack Smith’s move to circumvent the appellate court in his January 6 case against President Trump.

Bailey also took The Gateway Pundit’s blockbuster First Amendment lawsuit against the Biden Administration (formerly MO v Biden) – with TGP’s founder and Editor-in-Chief Jim Hoft as one of the top five plaintiffs – to the US Supreme Court.

Last June, in a stunning 6-3 decision, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the Biden Administration’s policy of deleting, suppressing, and deplatforming specific people, topics, and ideas is immune from suit, leaving no one able to challenge it in court.

The ruling, written by Justice Amy Coney Barrett, came down with the following key decision: “Neither the individual nor the state plaintiffs have established Article III standing to seek an injunction against any defendant.”

In sum, the court rules that the two different types of parties, states, and individuals harmed by these government policies, do not have ‘standing’ to sue. This case procedurally related to the request for a preliminary injunction for the government to stop the censorship regime while the case was going on.

Bailey announced he accepted the role of Co-Deputy Director of the FBI.

I am proud to announce I have accepted the role of Co-Deputy Director of the FBI.

I extend my thanks to @POTUS and @AGPamBondi for the opportunity to serve in the mission to Make America Safe Again.

I will protect America and uphold the Constitution. pic.twitter.com/hkMi2p1bXV
