Donald Trump Aides ‘Frustrated’ With RFK Jr. Despite Ties to President — Report

- March 16, 2026

Donald Trump‘s aides at the White House are reportedly unhappy with RFK Jr. amid the recent MAHA backlash. This comes after the US President signed an order to support the herbicide glyphosate, which is already controversial. The move received criticism from Robert F Kennedy Jr.’s MAHA movement, which opposes the use of such pesticides.

Donald Trump aides worried about RFK Jr amid MAHA backlash

According to a recent report by the Wall Street Journal, ahead of the midterm elections, Donald Trump’s aides are not satisfied with RFK Jr amid the ongoing MAHA backlash.

The report suggests that a recent poll shows Kennedy Jr.’s vaccine moves aren’t very popular among citizens. Thus, the aides have decided to be more involved in managing the Department under the Health and Human Services secretary. The outlet further states that Trump brought Kennedy Jr into the administration because he believed that he would “go wild on health.” However, the members of the administration are now “increasingly frustrated” with him. It also asserts that the aides are “worried that perceived disorganization and a focus on vaccines could damage the president’s party in November.”

Kennedy Jr is facing MAHA backlash since Trump signed an executive order to support glyphosate, which many people have claimed to cause health issues. The secretary came forward to address the claims in a tweet on X (formerly known as Twitter).

While he agreed that pesticides are toxic in nature, he went on to state, “I support President Trump’s Executive Order to bring agricultural chemical production back to the United States and end our near-total reliance on adversarial nations.” The politician further added that they “are securing supply chains, confronting the health risks embedded in our current system, and deploying every available tool to build a stronger, safer, more resilient American food supply,” under Trump’s leadership.
