On a March 5 episode of iHeart’s Dear Chelsea podcast, Chelsea said she recently purchased a home from the secretary of Health and Human Services and his wife, and it sounded like a complete nightmare.

The property, that Chelsea said she bought back in 2021, was allegedly in an unlivable state, that is affecting her ability to live in it even today. “That’s how ****** up this house was,” Chelsea said. “The idea that this guy is in charge of the health of our country when he didn’t even have a proper foundation at his house.”

The comedian claimed that the home inspector even told her the house “had the most toxic environment” and she wouldn’t be able to move in until years later.
“It was a disaster, and I didn’t know it going in because everything was, you know, under wraps. So anyway, I have my own issues with RFK,” Chelsea continued, adding she didn’t know at the time she was buying it from RFK Jr. and Cheryl.

“They had the audacity to leave me a note,” Chelsea added. “Cheryl Hines left me a note saying, ‘Let us know if there’s anything we can do for you, Chelsea.’ I’m like, yeah, how about a ******* foundation. That’s something you could do for me. … Anyway, I’m not angry about it or anything. I’m totally over it.”

On a March 26 episode of Tomi Lahren Is Fearless podcast, Cheryl said that she’s “questioning the timing” of Chelsea’s remarks. “She bought this house five years ago and she’s just now complaining about it, which is also, I don’t know that she’s getting a lot of sympathy from people. She’s buying a $6 million house,” Cheryl said. “And talking about how, you know, she feels duped and that we tried to sell her a house that was, her word, ‘toxic,’ which also doesn’t make sense.”

According to the Curb Your Enthusiasm alum, Chelsea’s claims about the house don’t “hold water” because she did, in fact, reach out to her to address any issues. “I did write her a personal note when she moved in, just saying how much we love the house. And I hope that she has a beautiful life in this house. And if you need anything, call me. And I left my number,” she said. “So I don’t know if we were trying to unload a ‘toxic’ house on her. I wouldn’t have left my number.”

Cheryl thinks that Chelsea is making these claims for “attention” just to “make fun of” her husband, RFK Jr. “So, what are you going to do? She’s trying to get a laugh, I guess, and some likes,” Cheryl said.

Promoting her High and Mighty comedy tour, Chelsea also mentioned her new house nightmare on Jimmy Kimmel Live! saying, “It took me four years to move in. There [were] a lot of problems with the house — I blame him,” referring to the HHS secretary. “And that didn’t get caught during inspection. And a lot of drama with the house. But I did just move in for the first time yesterday. So, I’m good.”
