One of the most recognized faces of the current Trump administration is Karoline Leavitt, who recently wore a springtime outfit during a controversial press briefing.
The young Press Secretary recently stepped out for her job this week in a striped mint-green outfit that suited the season. Despite her wearing bright colors, she still faced a lot of backlash for her comments during the press briefing, where she defended President Trump and the war in Iran. Read more about it below.
Karoline Leavitt Steps Out In Mint-Green Pantsuit For Press Briefing
There is a whole lot going on in the Trump administration right now, and one of the faces of it all is the young, blonde Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt.
She’s become very well known for her press briefings and interactions with reporters, which tend to be blunt and a little intense, given she’s seemingly feuding with many of them. Despite the tension, she continued to step out in a chic yet conservative wardrobe, and during the March 25th press briefing, stepped out in a springtime ensemble.
Karoline was seen wearing a mint-green striped suit that consisted of a mint-green blazer and, underneath, a green and white striped halter top. She wore a matching mint green shirt that flowed as she walked up to the podium and had her light blonde hair worn down and in curls.
Social Media Slams Karoline For ‘Defending’ President Trump
One of the most talked-about political issues right now is the United States’ involvement in the war in Iran. The 28-year-old was faced with a lot of questions about the ongoing conflict, and despite it all, continued to back the president and his decisions.
After being asked about the parts of the reported 15-point ceasefire plan proposed to Iran that she may find inaccurate, Karoline responded with a viral sentence, “Look, if you’ve heard it from the president of the United States, obviously it’s true.”
Social media took a clip of that response and ran with it, slamming the secretary for continually backing Trump and any actions of his they find reckless.
“The absolute biggest lie in the history of White House press secretaries,” responded an X user.
“How did the press corps not laugh in her face?” asked another.
One user called Karoline a “propaganda secretary,” as another wrote, “If it came out of his mouth, it’s a lie and then Karo-LIE repeats the lie.”
