The Handala group claimed that the cyber attack was a retaliation for the FBI’s seizure of its web domains and the US strikes that allegedly killed Iranian schoolchildren.
Following the Iran-backed group’s confession, an X (formerly Twitter) user alleged that conservative commentator, Candace Owens was the ‘mastermind’ behind the hacking plan. Mocking the claims, Candace redirected the spotlight onto Kash Patel’s girlfriend, country singer, Alexis Wilkins. The commentator and podcaster dismissed the allegations as utterly false, suggesting the rumours were just “another Alexis Wilkins chapter.”
