Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino told Fox News host Sean Hannity during an interview on the latter’s podcast earlier this week he was “proud” of his work at the bureau but legitimately “scared” that he could be targeted by a future Democratic regime because of the work that he and FBI Director Kash Patel began to clean up the agency.
“I will never be the same, and I’m being serious as a stroke right now. I’m scared, man. I know what I did, and I’m proud of my work, and I’m proud of what me and Kash accomplished in the past year…I know what we did, and I know what’s coming, I know what I started [and] laid out,” Bongino told Hannity.
“But don’t think for a second that I don’t think every day, and this is what’s really sad…they’re gonna come for me,” he continued. “I knew what I was getting into, but it happened to the president [Trump], and he went through…just the worst…the destruction of his civil liberties I’ve ever seen.

“But I say to my wife all the time – I know, Sean, I can look you in the face as a friend, tell you and your millions of viewers and listeners, I promise you, everything I did, I did with a dotted ‘i’ and a crossed ‘t,’” he noted further, adding that to ensure he was in full compliance, he brought in his own lawyer from the outside.

That said, even going “by the book” on all matters may not save him from being targeted by a future Democratic regime, he told Hannity. “It don’t matter. They’ll rewrite the book. Just like they did for President Trump. … The presidency could change, I hope it doesn’t, in a little over two years. You don’t think on election night, if we lose, it’s not going through my head, they’re gonna send some thugs to my house.”
“I was never the same after that, because after reading what I read about how many people did this [Russian collusion hoax] to President Trump…and not a single person stopped them, I’m terrified that they’re just not gonna do the right thing when they’re in charge,” he added.

Bongino, who re-launched his previously popular podcast in February after leaving the bureau in January, issued a warning about a sadistic group known as “764” that targets children in chat rooms during one of his first programs back on the air.
“I want you to pay very close attention to these three numbers,” Bongino said in a video clip of his Wednesday show, as a graphic on the screen said, “A Deadly Serious Warning To All Parents” that was flanked by flashing emergency light emojis.
“764. There is a network of people out there…this is what they call the 764 group inside the FBI…and folks, if you haven’t heard about them, look them up,” he continued.
Bongino went on to note that while the information about the group is vital because members target kids, it’s equally important to understand that “it involves another critical issue, which is surveillance and civil liberties. They’re interconnected on this.”
“This group is disgusting. It is horrifying the stuff they do,” he warned before going on to describe a briefing he was given during his time with the bureau detailing many of the images and videos members of the group send to kids in chat rooms, including self-mutilation and sexual abuses.
