LEFTIST VIOLENCE RUNS RAMPANT DURING MID-TERMS!
As mid term elections come to a close, we saw a rise in the amount of leftist political violence. Charlie Kirk was just the beginning. The left is becoming more and more violent as the political climate begins to intensify. The Democrat Socialists of America are gaining steam, with several up for election this mid term cycle. Radicals seem to be surrounding America’s democracy on all sides; like a fortress wading through hordes of violent insurgents. This most recent story out of the University of Michigan, while not as jarring as Charlie Kirk, should scare every conservative who wishes to engage in civil discourse.
Conservative commentators Cam Higby, Joe Redden, and Liz Benichou were on the University of Michigan campus attempting to engage students in civil discourse. A leftist student by the name of: Temulun Togochog approached the desk where they were peacefully speaking to students. It should be noted that Togochog may have affiliations to the Democratic Senate Candidate Abdul El-Seyed according to social media posts. The topic that conservative speakers were addressing at the event was:
- Is Islam compatible with Western values?
- Is Islam evil?
The assault first began when Togochog got in the face of Joe Redden for asking simple questions in relation to the prompt. Togochog proceeded to place her hand on Redden, prompting the surrounding commentators and students to ask her to back off peacefully. Togochog was obviously in a fit of rage.
Togochog then approached Liz Benichou, a conservative Jewish-American activist. Togochog immediately got in Benichou’s face, screaming and acting erratic as Benichou stood there calmly. Togochog, without any provocation or justification, pushed Benichou to the ground violently. Togochog then approached Benichou despite her being on the ground. She proceeded to attempt to kick and punch Benichou as she lay helpless on the ground in front of her. Onlookers immediately jumped to action, pulling Togochog off of her.
The police also responded immediately, throwing Togochog to the ground. Togochog proceeded to resist arrest despite lawful orders to stop. It took two police officers to eventually subdue Togochog and place her in the back of a police car in handcuffs. Togochog yelled from the back of the police car:
“I should have f***ing killed you when I had the chance!”
Charges have been authorized on Togochog, including felonies. She was charged with:
- Assaulting or resisting a police officer ( 1 count )
- Assault and battery (2 counts)
This shows the obvious violent lengths that the left is willing to go to in order to commit political violence. They have been normalizing the idea of assassinations over the last few years, making it seem like a justified thing to do in the name of their cause.
A study by Rutgers University showed that among polled leftists in the study, they showed a far greater affinity for political violence than conservatives. Here is a chart from said study that demonstrates how violence is being normalized by the democrats.
It’s shocking to see, but makes sense in the modern age of leftist rage and riots. A staggering 55.2 percent of “left of center” democrats said that murdering Donald Trump is justified. That’s more than half of democrats polled. Another key factor in this is the fact that these are “left of center” not “far left” identifying democrats. That means that this is your everyday, mild, run of the mill democrat that responded in this way; not a self identified extremist. That should scare you.
We must crack down on political violence. We cannot let the democrats make violence into a normal response to the free exchange of ideas. If you cannot debate without threats of force and real violent action, we cannot have a democracy. Unfortunately, if the democrats continue down this path, we may see more violence in the near future. Stay vigilant, these people may want to hurt you… or worse.
