ILHAN OMAR’S HOME RAIDED DUE TO IMMIGRATION FRAUD

On October 12th, Federal agents with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) raided the home of Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.  Omar, a Somali immigrant, has been under scrutiny from the Trump administration for a long while now.  Her vocal disharmony with the Trump agenda, and blatant anti-American rhetoric, has placed a target on her back.  The reason for the raid was not for political social points or a grudge, but a real fact based investigation into her immigration status.  New information that was uncovered by HSI may prove that she deliberately lied about her age to gain entry into the country.  This could disqualify her from her status as a US Citizen.  

Let’s break down the details.  Omar’s home in Washington DC was raided by HSI. Contrary to the leftist agenda that smears this investigation, Omar’s home was searched due to a federal court order. This judicially authorized search warrant can only be signed and “green-lit” if there is enough objective evidence to warrant a criminal investigation.  This means, anyone who tries to tell you that this search was unlawful simply is not informed.  This order was signed by a federal judge prior to any action.

• What was seized, and why?

Omar’s whole residence was searched.  Within that search, seizure of potential evidence is standard to any criminal investigation.  Many items were seized, including her cell phones, computers, other electronics, paperwork, notebooks, and her passport.  These items were seized due to the nature of the investigation.  They all could hold evidence that could help reveal the true circumstances of her immigration.

• What actual immigration fraud did she allegedly commit?

According to investigators with HSI, this is a multi-pronged investigation.  On one hand, they are looking into the immigration status of her father.  Information has come out that calls into question the validity of her father’s citizenship.  Potential fraud on his end could affect Omar’s own citizenship.  This is due to the fact that Omar inherited her citizenship from her father, due to her being 17 years old at the time.  If her father committed fraud and should not be in the country, Omar’s own citizenship could be revoked as well.

On the other hand, fraud on her own account has been discovered.  The other side of this investigation is proving what age she was when she entered the country.  The paperwork says she was 17 years old, making her a minor.  This allowed her to inherit citizenship with her father.  However, investigators have found evidence that she was not 17 at the time of her immigration, but 18 years old.  This would mean that she is no longer a minor, and would have to seek citizenship on her own account.  In both cases, if proven true, it would show that Omar should not be a valid US citizen.  She may have gamed the system like the illegal aliens she tries so hard to support.

Omar’s response, and the larger Democrat response, has been comically hypocritical.  Here is what Omar had to say about the raid on her home:

“Make no mistake: this is an attempt to target political enemies and weaponize federal law enforcement…I will not be silenced.” 

Omar’s official congressional office published this statement in regards to the raid:

“The Congresswoman has done nothing wrong. No president should be able to use the power of the federal government to intimidate his political enemies.”

How funny that as soon as a valid criminal investigation is targeted against you, the idea of using federal powers to investigate a crime for political means seems unthinkable.  However, back during the last election cycle when the democrats leveled political attacks mercilessly on Trump, they were in full support.  Trump’s investigations were obviously a hit job made to target him for purely political reasons during an election.  Yet, here is what Omar said in regards to Trump’s various political trials and witch hunts during 2024:

“Our democracy rests on the rule of law. When someone—no matter how powerful they are—is suspected of a criminal act, our justice system investigates, charges, and convicts them in accordance with due process.”

Oh, I see, it’s ok to investigate a politician when it’s cohesive to your agenda.  But, when it’s you, it’s a grave miscarriage of justice.  That makes perfect sense. Here’s another quote to sink the last nail into the coffin:

“Now it is up to all of us, as citizens and elected leaders, to support accountability and to follow the facts where they lead.”

Only when it’s not you of course. No matter what happens with this investigation, all we can do is hope that the truth prevails.  If no fraud is found, let her stay.  If fraud is found, let a federal judge decide what should be done with her just like any other illegal immigrant.  If she stays, remember her words about Trump and realize she is truly a hypocrite.
