SOCIALISTS THREATEN AMERICA FROM WITHIN

Self proclaimed socialist mayor of New York City, Zohran Mamdani, has endorsed three congressional candidates.  All of which have just won their respective primary elections.  All of these candidates share drastically far left ideology that goes against the core of traditional American values.  All three are a part of the “DSA” party (Democratic Socialists of America).  It would seem that the far left has taken a major foothold in mainstream American politics.  For many who live normal, working class lives in America this can only be seen as a horrible threat to the county.  Yet, somehow, the left seems to be championing these extreme candidates.  The Democrats are not hiding their ulterior motives anymore.  Their true colors are showing: not blue, but red; harkening to the cold war era and the “red scare” of communism on the rise.  What does this mean for America’s future, and what kind of far left policies are these “DSA” candidates proclaiming?  Let’s break down the details.

To begin, who are these socialist candidates?  All of them are based in New York, representing districts within the city.  They are:

• Darializa Avila Chevalier (New York’s 13th District)
• Brad Lander (New York’s 10th District)
• Claire Valdez (New York’s 7th District)

These individuals are self described socialists. Their rhetoric is one of the most shocking things about them apart from their actual policy.  They believe that the left has not gone nearly far enough, and seeks to eat their own per se.  The most famous instance of this is from Chevalier, the 32 year old activist who ousted a 5 term incumbent, making statements about Democrat presidents. 

Chevalier called president Obama “evil”, and Biden a “war criminal”.  It is obvious that this new wave of Democrats do not want to play by the same rules as those before them.  Chevalier was also reported saying (in a now deleted post on X) that America is a “F—ing disgrace”.  She also posted back in 2021 that she: “forgot to get napkins so I just wiped by hand on the American flag behind me”.  

This is the scary part about these candidates potentially winning power in our system of government.  They obviously, by their own admission, hate America.  Moreover, to drive this point home, it is important to look at the main campaigning tenants for the “DSA”.  Their terrifying agenda is plain to see on their website.  They don’t even attempt to hide their extremism.  A link to their policy on their own site is below in the sources, however, allow me to summarize for your ease of access. 

They admit, early on in their resources, that their main goal is to aid in the construction of a ‘worldwide socialist government’:

“With a government by, for, and of the working class and with powerful labor unions and social movements organizing in every city and town, we hope to build a socialist society where people come before profit, basic needs are guaranteed, the largest corporations are put under public ownership and democratic control, peace around the world is secured, and workers around the world join together in common struggle to construct socialism worldwide.”

Not only is this a scary notion on its own, but shouldn’t the goal of our governmental officials be to serve the American people?  It shouldn’t be to strive towards “world wide socialism”, what happened to America first? Shouldn’t the needs of the American people take priority?

Sadly, this is not even the worst part.  As you read further, it starts to be clear that they don’t care about America as a priority whatsoever.  All of their speech is surrounding “world affairs”, and “deconstruction of borders”.  They sound more like a party for a one world government than anything else.  Look no further than their policy of Gaza:

“An immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza, an end to military and economic aid, and weapons sales to Israel, respect of the authority of the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice, and national sovereignty for the Palestinian people.”

Why would a group that is mainly popular in districts of New York City have a policy on Gaza of all places?  Again, what about America?  If more proof is needed that they wish to dismantle America, take a look at their immigration policy.  This is listed under their policy of “freedom of Movement” on their website:

“Allow workers to freely migrate between countries to seek employment without restrictive immigration controls. Demilitarize the border, end all immigrant detention and deportations, immediate amnesty for all immigrants regardless of current immigration status, and provide access to jobs, labor rights, and social services to all immigrants.”

So, essentially, make America borderless with no way to enforce immigration restrictions.  Also, built within this policy, is to provide social services to all immigrants.  You would need infinite money to do both of these things simultaneously. How can you let in functionally infinite amounts of people, and then provide functionally infinite amounts of social safety nets and housing to those immigrants?  That’s a lot of tax money.  Tax money that would have to come from the native born population of Americans.  On top of that, the most important part is clear as day; the “social services and benefits” are not necessarily offered to the native born Americans. How much more anti-American can you be in your policy?

Other important tenants they follow include:

• Ending the electoral college
• Replacing the US Senate 
• Abolition of ICE 
• Abolition of prisons 

Obviously these people are extreme, and most people would think they are too ‘far out’ to gain any meaningful amount of power.  However, three have just won primary elections. Zohran Mamdani is in the DSA, and he is the current mayor of NYC.  Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, aka AOC, is a current US representative in charge of critical decision making within our government.  She is proudly a part of the DSA.  

The message is clear, whether we like it or not, socialism is on the rise in America.  This is what we fought to keep at bay throughout the entire 20th century.  Vietnam, Korea, and the Cold War.  The red dragon in the East is rising its head once more, but this time on our own soil.  They will try to lull the American people into a slumber of complacency.  We cannot let the same thing that happened to Russia during 1917 happen here.  If we do, it will be the end of our Republic
