This was the ‘old game.’ The monopolies quiet struck deals with tech giants, allowing them to tap into the public grid and local water tables. The public didn’t know. The public didn’t have a pulse about whether the grid was a monopoly because it was invisible, until their wells started going dry and their power bills started spiking during a heatwave.

Enter the new administration and the Ratepayer Protection Pledge.

Someone, somewhere, decided: ‘Hey, maybe we shouldn’t let these trillion-dollar companies break the public grid and take the public’s drinking water just to win a coding competition.’

Let’s fact-check the gatekeepers. Under the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951, the federal government has a vault-a literal, physical and digital vault-of inventions that are deemed ‘detrimental to national security.’

According to official statistics from the USPTO, there are currently over 6,000 active secrecy orders sitting in that vault.

Think about that! 6,000 inventions-some probably from the original free-energy pioneers like Tesla, but many from inventors reinventing the same principles again and again and again-are locked up! They were not just ideas. They were ‘working models.’ Someone validated them, and then a bureaucrat looked at it and said: ‘Whoa, whoa, whoa… if people get free power, how are we supposed to charge them $200 a month just to deliver it?
