The ACLJ has filed FOIA requests seeking FBI records explaining how and why the Bureau, during President Biden’s term, collected phone data on Kash Patel and Susie Wiles during a Trump-related investigation. The requests seek documents showing who authorized the subpoenas, the legal basis for obtaining the records, the investigative purpose, and any related surveillance or internal communications.
