It’s been a minute since President Donald Trump last visited Greater Cincinnati, as evidenced by a member of the White House staff misspelling the name of the Queen City.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt misspelled Cincinnati in a post on X about Trump’s visit to a biotechnology company in Reading. Leavitt previously told reporters Trump was visiting Ohio and Kentucky to speak with lawmakers and business owners he admires and to talk about the economy.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt takes questions during a news briefing in the James S. Brady Press Briefing Room of the White House on March 10, 2026 in Washington, DC.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt misspelled Cincinnati in a post on X about Trump's visit to a biotechnology company in Reading.

“CINCINATTI, OHIO: President Trump meets with workers at Fisher Scientific!” Leavitt posted. She later deleted the post.

Of course, it’s Cincinnati with three “n”s and one “t.” And the company Trump visited is Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Respondents on X said “KAROLINE SPELL OUR CITY’S NAME CORRECTLY BABE,” “”Karoline, it’s spelled Cincinnati… thank you. Go Trump!” and “Newbie error.”
