Every time we turn around, it seems as if black women in power are doing something to make the news, and it’s not always good.
And right on cue, Kamala Harris, who has a gift for saying the worst possible thing at the worst possible time, has piped up and opened another can of worms.
Her latest gem came during a Black women’s political summit in Chicago, where she told the crowd that Black women in politics should be more “transactional” and start saying, “I’m gonna get mine also.” That line might have landed better in an alternate political universe, but in this one, it landed smack dab in the middle of a growing pile of ugly headlines involving black Dem women in power, campaign cash, ethics problems, federal raids, indictments, and corruption allegations.

Let the pouncing begin…
Because when voters hear a politician talk about “getting mine,” they think about what they’ve been watching for years. A bunch of scumbags turning public office into a family business, fundraising machine, or personal ATM.
Kamala probably thought she was delivering some inspirational sisterhood moment. Nope. She accidentally handed critics a perfect “slogan” for everything we already hate about the Dem machine.
The X post below pulls together a long list of black Democrat women in politics who’ve faced indictments, ethics problems, investigations, raids, convictions, or serious allegations tied to money and power.
Yep, they “got some,” alright.
Some of these cases are already proven, and some are still allegations or are ongoing investigations. But the bigger point is like a red flag flapping in the wind… When Kamala says it’s time to “get mine,” we’re all sitting here nodding along, realizing this selfish, greedy mindset has been ruling the left for years.
Kamala says Black women in politics need to start saying “I’m gonna get mine also,” but that appears to be the problem:
Cori Bush illegally funneled campaign funds to her husband to serve as her personal bodyguard.
Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick was indicted for stealing $5 million in FEMA funds.
Louise Lucas was raided by the FBI for bribery and corruption.
Ayanna Pressley used her office to secure contracts for her felon husband Conan Harris’s real estate rentals and consulting firm.
Maxine Waters was charged with three ethics violations in 2008 for securing $12 million in TARP bailouts to her husband Sidney Williams’s OneUnited Bank.
Ilhan Omar’s net worth exploded by 6,500% since taking office, then said it was an accounting error, and helped her Somali friends steal over $250 million meant for hungry kids.
Jahana Hayes paid $500,000 to her daughter and other relatives from campaign funds for “part-time services.”
Jasmine Crockett spent tens of thousands from campaign funds on luxury goods and limo rides, stole money from an unaware elderly donor via 53 unauthorized ActBlue transactions, and failed to report 22 stock transactions.
Sheila Jackson Lee was found to have received campaign donations from dead voters during her 2023 mayoral run, among other improper contributions.
Corrine Brown was convicted in 2017 on 18 fraud and tax counts for a sham nonprofit scholarship scheme.

Multiple people on the scene are reportedly being taken into custody as agents move through the area.
The office sits near several cannabis dispensaries Lucas has been associated with, adding another layer to the investigation.

That’s quite an impressive list.
Clearly, there’s a pattern here with black female politicians behaving badly.
We actually covered another aspect of this recently.
What’s happening with black women in America? Some are rising to power thanks to the DEI movement, which rewards skin color, gender, and sexual preference over merit, experience, or excellence. However, the problem arises once those women who are not qualified are placed in positions of power and leadership, where they often quickly crash and burn. From embezzling $15 million in COVID funds to engaging in shameless plagiarism, these meritless women have demonstrated that they are not up to the task and struggle with the responsibilities they’ve been given. Naturally, they revert to what they know best: lying, cheating, and stealing. The whole situation is unfair to those black women in this country who succeed based on merit, honesty, and hard work to be lumped in with the large mass of meritless DEI incompetents.
“Black women behaving badly” has become a national pastime that can no longer be ignored. We’ve compiled a list of some of the most infamous cases of black women in leadership roles behaving badly.
Big Fani Willis:
The current reigning queen of “black ladies behaving badly” is none other than Big Fani Willis. As the DA out of Fulton County, GA, she has paved the way for other DEI frauds to follow. With a completely stone-faced look on her smug face, she has accused innocent people of fraud and wrongdoing while her own closet is overflowing with dirty deeds. This woman, once hailed by many on the left and in the propaganda media as “Black Girl Magic” for going after President Trump with her sham indictments, has now been dethroned by her own immoral and criminal activities—too foolish to understand how to conduct herself or, at the very least, cover her tracks properly.
Kim Foxx:
Kim Foxx, once the pride of Chicago and another Soros-backed black DA poised to make serious waves, ended up washed up like all the others on this shameful DEI list. Kim foolishly used her power to play politics, aiding a fraud and hoax artist named Jussie Smollett to escape justice. Eventually, Kim’s dirty deeds were exposed, and her career came to a disgraceful end. Yet again, we witness another black woman in power who couldn’t handle the responsibilities her position demanded, succumbing to manipulation by those far smarter than herself.
Rep. Jasmine Crockett:
Texas Rep. Jasmine Crocket is bringing the “hood” to Capitol Hill. She has single-handedly infused “yass queen” vibes into US lawmaking. Gone are the days of respectable decorum and old-fashioned professionalism, now replaced by mile-long fake eyelashes, neon acrylic nails, and a head-bob that screams, “Oh no, you didn’t!”
Wikipedia says Crockett was born in St. Louis, Missouri. She attended Mary Institute, St. Louis Country Day School, and Rosati-Kain, an all-girls Catholic high school in St. Louis, Missouri. She graduated from Rhodes College in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts in business administration. As an undergraduate, Crockett planned to become an anesthesiologist or certified public accountant before deciding to attend law school, which she stated was due to experiencing a hate crime while attending college.
The low-IQ left adores Jasmine’s dumbed-down “hoodrat” act. Meanwhile, the rest of the country watches, confused and concerned. What are we becoming—a nation of fools or fighters?”
Kim Gardner:
Another Soros-backed prosecutor bites the dust. Kim Gardner, infamous for prosecuting the McCloskey couple who defended themselves at their home against an angry BLM mob, was ousted from office in utter disgrace. Once hailed as a strong, heroic black woman, Kim chose not to prosecute violent crimes, instead focusing on political antics to score woke points and boost her PR. Meanwhile, her city spiraled further into decay. Attorney General Andrew Bailey’s “Kim Gardner Report” outlines his successful petition in quo warranto that removed her from office after years of failing to prosecute violent crime in St. Louis.
Tiffany Henyard:
Another black woman in power who has fallen shamelessly from grace is Dolton Mayor Tiffany Henyard. Her extravagant spending sprees are literally bankrupting the city, and she couldn’t give two toots. She looks like an extra in a P. Diddy video as she rolls up with a security detail that makes Trump’s team look like amateurs. Many believe that Tiffany, like so many DEI-promoted black women in high-level leadership roles, saw the money, couldn’t resist, and dipped into the till to enrich herself and play “baller.”
So, as you can see, there’s a lot more to this theory than just a couple rotten politicians. This has become a political culture where access, identity, power, family connections, campaign money, and public funds keep ending up in the same ugly conversations.
That’s the problem for Democrats. They built an entire political brand around identity, moral superiority, and this thing they like to call “representation.” But voters are starting to wonder, who’s actually being represented here?
Kamala wants Black women in politics to think more transactionally…
Fine. And voters should do the same thing.
They should ask what they’re actually getting from the politicians who claim to speak for them. Cleaner cities? Safer neighborhoods? Better schools? Honest government? Or just another round of speeches, scandals, family payouts, and public officials who somehow always seem to come out richer while their communities keep struggling?

Because “I’m gonna get mine” might be honest. But it sure isn’t the public-service slogan Democrats think it is.
