Hearing on Child Care Program Fraud After Rampant Minnesota Fraud Exposed

Tevin McLeod - February 12, 2026

The Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions Committee holds a hearing on child care program fraud on Thursday, February 12.

The hearing comes after massive fraud was exposed in Minnesota, particularly in the Somali immigrant community.

The Department of Health and Human Services cut off funding to five states, including Minnesota, in January as a result of fraud concerns.
