White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has shared a somewhat enigmatic message about life’s greatest regrets on social media. The 28-year-old mother of one expressed her thoughts to followers on Instagram. In a recent post, Leavitt stated, “Things you’ll never regret: Praying, Putting your phone down, listening over talking, calling your mom, reading the bible, investing in memories, being thankful, forgiving others, forgiving yourself, giving a compliment, drinking more water, saying ‘I love you,’ and trusting god.”

Her sentiments emerge as Donald Trump remains in the news following a series of dramatic public appearances and online tirades. During a recent C-SPAN broadcast on March 20, cameras captured the president abruptly departing from reporters mid-question.

Meanwhile, as Leavitt celebrated her baby shower, social media users all seemed to have the same query regarding her age-gap marriage.

The uncomfortable interaction with Trump occurred on the White House South Lawn when a Fox News reporter questioned the 79-year-old about the ongoing situation in Iran. Initially appearing at ease, Trump confidently responded to inquiries before the atmosphere suddenly shifted.

One journalist asked, “Mr President, you said that the war was militarily won in Iran. What did you mean by that?” to which he replied, “Oh, I think we’ve won.”

Trump then elaborated on his reasoning, adding, “We’ve knocked out their navy, their air force, we’ve knocked out their anti-aircraft, we’ve knocked out everything. We’re roaming free.

“From a military standpoint, all they’re doing is clogging up the Strait. But from a military standpoint, they are finished.”

However, when the same Fox News reporter asked, “So how much longer should the American people expect this to go on?” Trump simply brushed him off and changed the subject, beginning to walk away from the press.

This incident is just the latest in a tumultuous few days for the president, who has also unleashed a barrage of heated online posts – including a scathing critique of political adversaries following the death of Robert Mueller III and escalating complaints about airport disarray across the US.

In other news, Leavitt recently announced that she is expecting her second child with husband Nicholas Riccio. The couple, who already have a young son born in July 2024, shared the joyful news in a holiday-themed social media post, revealing they are set to welcome a baby girl in May 2026.

“The greatest Christmas gift we could ever ask for – a baby girl coming in May 2026,” Leavitt posted on Instagram in December. “My husband and I are thrilled to grow our family and can’t wait to watch our son become a big brother.

“My heart is overflowing with gratitude to God for the blessing of motherhood, which I truly believe is the closest thing to Heaven on Earth.”

Leavitt’s pregnancy is also historic, as she becomes the first active White House press secretary to be pregnant whilst serving in the position.

She has previously discussed balancing motherhood with her demanding career, even returning to work just days after the birth of her first child.

Reflecting on her choice to forgo maternity leave, she once shared, “I had just brought my newborn, my three-day-old baby home from the hospital,” when Trump was attacked on live TV.

“I looked at my husband and said, ‘Looks like I’m going back to work,'” Karoline recalled.

“I felt compelled to be present in this historic moment. The president literally put his life on the line to win this election. The least I could do is get back to work quickly,” she further noted.
