Former Fox News anchor Maria Bartiromo has released her first statement, a week after publicly parting ways with the network.
In a brief X post posted on Thursday and featuring a photo of a cloudy sky with a rainbow breaking through, the former Fox anchor thanked her supporters and promised, “More to come.”
“Thank you to all friends & followers for your amazing words I am so grateful for the outpouring of love,” she wrote. “I love you all. here’s a great shot of the 🌈 breaking through, I snapped the other day. More to come.”

Bartiromo’s departure was announced on Sept. 3 in an abrupt statement from Fox that left the media world reeling.
“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” the network said in the statement.
That same day, Oliver Darcy’s Status dropped an explosive report describing how Bartiromo shared with the White House a directive from Fox Business bosses not to lend credibility to claims Trump had made during a prime-time speech about the 2020 election and China.
Darcy described Bartiromo’s actions as having “effectively betrayed her employer.”
That Status report also described Bartiromo’s departure as a firing, which her lawyer has disputed.
Regardless, Bartiromo’s bio on the Fox Business website was scrubbed, and her daily Fox Business show, Mornings With Maria, was renamed Mornings with Fox Business, hosted by rotating anchors.
Her Sunday Fox News show, Sunday Morning Futures, was also to continue with different personalities in the anchor chair.
Bartiromo’s producer, Patrick Ignozzi, was also let go.
It was later learned that Bartiromo’s own staffers were barred from speaking with her in the weeks before her ouster was announced.
