Investigative Reporter Steve Baker has made waves with his deep dive into the identity of the the J6 Pipe Bomber. He and many others believe the suspect charged with the crime, Brian Cole Jr, does not match certain characteristics we know from the public footage of the incident.
He was interviewed by Megyn Kelly last week in what was supposed to be a live broadcast, but at the last minute they said they would tape it and release it later. Now, they’ve informed Baker that they will not be airing the episode at all.
According to his post on X:
One week ago today I gave an extensive interview to @megynkelly for the @megynkellyshow. While this was originally intended and announced to be a live interview, the decision was made to record for later release. This was a last-minute decision precipitated by the stunning revelation – that morning – that Shauni Kerkhoff had failed an FBI polygraph about her alleged role in the J6 pipe bomber saga.
The Megyn Kelly Team kept me apprised for the next week of reasons for the delay in releasing the interview, and this morning gave me this statement on why it will not be aired:
“After extensive independent legal review, without having access to certain sources referenced throughout the interview, we are not able to air the interview at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to do this, and hope you understand that we have tried to get this to a point where we could clear our independent standards for air. We remain very interested in this story, and will be in touch should there be further developments in the future.”
I will present additional information if and when that comes available.
We have invited Baker to appear for a live interview on one of our shows.
