Something very toxic has unfolded between young men and feminist women, and the results are finally showing up in the numbers. But it’s not working out the way the feminists thought it would.
A generation of women grew up hearing that being strong and independent meant berating and beating down men. They claimed they didn’t need a man, and they could do anything a man could do, only better.
Sure, that slogan might sound cute on a crop top, but it’s not true.
But feminists ran with it. They said marriage and babies could wait, and cooking, homemaking, and family life were “misogynist” things that trad wives were forced to do. These progressive princesses believed careers came first, and any dependence on a husband or man was a personal failure.
And while all of this was going on, men were getting a different message.
The new branding for men was that masculinity was “toxic,” and they were predators. Needless to say, for the average guy, approaching women became really high-risk. Traditional male roles were mocked, and many were told to be more “feminine,” while women were assuming the more masculine roles. But men were still expected to be successful, attractive, emotionally available, and financially stable and somehow know exactly when their attention was wanted and when they should slink away and be quiet.
But everybody knew that little “role reversal” wasn’t going to stay one-sided forever. For starters, the entire balance of humanity has been thrown in a woodchipper. Women are taking power positions in companies and destroying them left and right… just ask Bud Light, Disney, Cracker Barrel, and others. Female police officers have become a meme of incompetence and are constantly placing everybody, including themselves and the public, in danger. Feminists are “shouting” and celebrating their abortions while simultaneously hero-worshiping a woman who confessed to strangling her kids to death. Needless to say, Houston, we have a problem.
And now, much to nobody’s surprise, there’s a growing theory that men are simply checking out of the whole thing.
Mind you, these guys aren’t storming off in anger or announcing some grand boycott of women… they’re not that cringey. But what they are doing is walking away from the chase.
And that’s where this very interesting post comes into play.
The argument making the rounds online is that men were shell-shocked when they were first “canceled” after the #MeToo debacle. They spent a long time sitting in the corner, being told they had to compete harder for women’s attention while accepting all the mockery, criticism, rejection, being thrown at them, and all the bigger and bolder demands along the way.
But once that shock finally wore off, and they could see how women were losing the plot, a lot of men just decided the game isn’t worth playing.
Here’s how the X post laid it out.

They just stopped playing a rigged game where they have to be perfect and women get to be flawed and still be called a prize. And that is what is driving women INSANE.

For a long time, women held most of the power in early dating. Men approached, asked, and pursued, and women decided whether the answer was yes or no. And plenty of women enjoyed having that kind of leverage, sometimes a little too much.
Dating apps only made things worse. They gave women access to more men and more attention, and they ran with it. Soon, there was this big “man-hating” vibe coming from the left. Unless you were a soft, doughy, effeminate man who was happy to play second fiddle to your woman, you were ostracized.
But now something seems to be shifting. Instead of competing harder for the attention women have been demanding, a growing number of men seem to be deciding they’d rather stop playing altogether.
And if enough men decide rejection, dating apps, casual hook-ups, and hostile vibes toward masculinity aren’t worth the effort, it’ll be women who lose something they’ve taken for granted: male pursuit.
And there’s another piece of evidence making this theory much more interesting.
The women who embraced this clownish progressive view of marriage, sex, and family are now in the middle of a birth-rate catastrophe.
New research from the Institute for Family Studies found a rather large fertility gap between conservatives and liberals.
The political divide is now showing up in the hospital nursery.

A damning new study has revealed that birth rates are plunging among liberals amid a rise in progressive doomism that is leading to left-wing Americans thinking twice about starting families.
Data shows that America’s political divide is now extending into the nursery as new research reveals that conservatives are having significantly more children than liberals.
Research from the Institute for Family Studies (IFS) found that self-identified conservatives have an average of 1.4 children, compared with just 1.09 among liberals.
Crucially, researchers found that the gap remained even after accounting for sex, religion, race, income, age, marital status, and education.
The findings come as America faces a wider birthrate crisis and President Donald Trump’s administration pushes policies aimed at encouraging Americans to start and grow families.
Writing for left-wing outlet The Atlantic, staff writer Olga Khazan acknowledged that having children, particularly larger families, has increasingly become associated with the political Right.
“Having children — particularly lots of children — has become a bit right-coded, as the kids say,” Khazan wrote.
“Americans and Europeans who identify as leftist or liberal tend to have fewer children than those who identify as conservative or right-leaning.”
Now having children is apparently becoming “right-coded.”
Think about how twisted and warped that is.
Starting a family isn’t a political act, for crying out loud. Raising children shouldn’t belong to Republicans or Democrats. It belongs to people.
But culture has consequences…
When one side spends years telling women that motherhood can wait, traditional relationships are oppressive, and men need to be “fixed” before they’re worthy of affection, it shouldn’t be shocking when the birth rate on your side tanks.
Families tend to pass down culture, values, habits, and beliefs. If one political tribe consistently builds larger families while the other opts out, eventually that difference will add up.
But the fertility gap is only one part of this story.
The dating world is changing… women said men weren’t worthy, and so men walked away… sort of.
Yes, a woman might still get attention online, date, and have men interested in sex.
But attention isn’t the same thing as commitment, ladies.
The most interesting point in that clip is how a woman can still get plenty of male attention but not get what she wants.
Dating apps and social media can make somebody feel constantly desired, but that doesn’t mean the guy providing that attention wants marriage, children, or even a serious relationship. Hell, he’s probably talking to 15 other girls.
Men now have their own way of rejecting women.
They can stop pursuing. They can keep relationships casual. They can refuse to get serious.
Women are asking again, “Where did all the serious men go?” Well, ya’ll scared them off.
But not in the traditional sense, because men say they’re still there… but these days they’re being much more careful about whom they choose.
Meanwhile, ladies, the years keep moving on, and unlike an app, biology doesn’t have a back button.
So, you gotta wonder, who’s actually in charge now?
