Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) released internal federal documents that show the FBI intervened and refused US Customs and Border Patrol (CPB) from searching and questioning Dr. Peter Daszak upon his return trip from China in 2021.
The Customs and Border Patrol was ready to interview Dr. Daszak, from EcoHealth Alliance, the group that funded gain of function research at the Wuhan, China biolab.
Three days before his arrival, the FBI’s New York Field Office notified the CBP: do not stop the subject. The inspection never took place.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported in 2024 the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) suspended all federal funding and initiated debarment proceedings against EcoHealth Alliance, the controversial health organization led by Dr. Peter Daszak.
The decision stems from EcoHealth Alliance’s deep connections with the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), a facility increasingly at the center of global investigations into the pandemic’s origins.
Dr. Andrew Huff, who reported to Dr. Peter Daszak at EcoHealth Alliance told The Gateway Pundit in October 2022 said that he provided proof to the US Congress that the COVID virus that killed millions and resulted in mass starvation and global economic shutdown was created in a Wuhan laboratory.
It should be noted that in 2016, Dr. Daszak explained how scientists could create a virus in a China lab that would lead to a global coronavirus pandemic.

There are also reports that Dr. Daszak was working with the CIA.
So, of course, the Chris Wray’s FBI did not want him interviewed by the CBP on his way back from China!
