President Donald Trump traveled to Memphis on Monday for a roundtable discussion focused on crime reduction efforts in the city.

The event was held at the Tennessee Air National Guard Armory near Memphis International Airport, where Trump met with local and federal leaders to discuss the Memphis Safe Task Force.

Trump said the city has seen a significant decline in violent crime since the task force was launched in September, calling it one of the fastest reductions on record. He also expressed optimism about continued improvements.

Joining the president at the event were Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, Attorney General Pam Bondi, Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee and other officials, along with local residents.

Trump arrived in Memphis around 11 Monday morning and departed shortly after 2:30 that afternoon. His visit concluded with a stop at Graceland.
