
A record number of attorneys have already voted in the District of Columbia Bar election, with several weeks to go, as Paul Hastings partner Brad Bondi, brother to the U.S. attorney general, vies to lead the organization.
Some attorneys are raising concerns about Bondi leading the bar association at a time when the Trump administration is targeting private law firms and Bondi’s sister, Attorney General Pam Bondi, is leading the Justice Department. But he has dismissed concerns of his candidacy as baseless, saying he hopes to “unify the bar and keep it non-partisan.”
