Bondi Blames ‘Contradictory’ Rulings for Deportation Fight (1)

US Attorney General Pam Bondi denied that the government violated a federal judge’s orders against deporting alleged Venezuelan gang members, instead blaming his “contradictory” oral and written rulings.

Bondi made the assertion in a filing late Tuesday, responding to a directive by US District Judge James Boasberg. She was to explain why the judge shouldn’t find that the US violated his March 15 temporary restraining orders by failing to turn around planes carrying deportees to El Salvador as the orders were delivered.
