Karoline Leavitt may be preparing to leave her job as White House press secretary, but she is not leaving President Donald Trump’s political operation behind.
The outgoing press secretary has now revealed exactly where she is heading next, promising reporters that they will continue seeing plenty of her.

Leavitt announced Friday evening that she will join MAGA Inc., the Trump-aligned super PAC expected to play a significant role in the upcoming midterm elections.
Speaking with reporters outside Air Force One, Leavitt confirmed the move as she prepares to officially step down from her White House position at the end of August.
“You guys will still see me all the time,” Leavitt told reporters.

Her exact title at MAGA Inc. has not yet been announced, but the organization is familiar territory for the outgoing press secretary.
Leavitt previously served as a spokesperson for MAGA Inc. before joining Trump’s successful 2024 presidential campaign and eventually becoming the public face of his second White House.

The organization is expected to become a major force in the battle for control of Congress this November.
MAGA Inc. has reportedly accumulated more than $350 million in campaign funds heading into the midterms, giving the Trump-aligned organization substantial resources to influence races across the country.
Leavitt’s move therefore keeps her firmly inside Trump’s political orbit while allowing her to step away from the demanding daily responsibilities that come with serving as White House press secretary.
She previously explained that her decision to leave the administration was motivated by a desire to spend more time with her growing family.
Leavitt and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, have two young children, including a daughter born in May.
She returned from maternity leave in mid-July but subsequently decided to permanently leave her White House position.
Leavitt also revealed Friday that her trip aboard Air Force One would be her final official outing as press secretary.
She joined Trump for a flight to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, where the president was scheduled to campaign for Sen. Darline Graham as Graham seeks a full term in the seat previously held by her late brother, Lindsey Graham.
Trump has made clear that Leavitt’s departure from the White House will not end their political relationship.

Following her announcement, the president said Leavitt would continue working with the White House as one of his “top advisers” while becoming an “influential voice within the Republican Party.”
Leavitt similarly made clear when announcing her departure that her political fight against Democrats would continue after she left the briefing room.
Attention has meanwhile shifted toward who will replace her behind the White House podium.
The administration has not yet announced a successor, and Trump suggested Friday that there is no shortage of candidates interested in one of the most visible communications jobs in American politics.
“I will tell you this, and Karoline will tell you this,” Trump told reporters, “I have never seen so many job applications in my life.”

Among the names reportedly under consideration are CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings and Katie Miller, the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
Others have also been floated as potential contenders as Trump weighs whether to select a permanent replacement or adopt another communications arrangement.
Leavitt made history when she became White House press secretary at just 27 years old, making her the youngest person ever to hold the position.
She quickly became one of the administration’s most recognizable figures through frequent clashes with reporters and her aggressive defense of Trump’s policies.

Her departure therefore represents a significant change for the White House communications operation.
But unlike many high-profile administration exits, Leavitt’s move does not represent a break with Trump or his political movement, Breitbart News reported.
Instead, she is moving from the White House briefing room directly into an organization positioned to help Republicans through the midterms and beyond.
