Pentagon Releases Stunning New UFO Videos

Tevin McLeod - September 18, 2026

Fox News managed to get an ‘otherworldly’ exclusive on Thursday, thanks in large part to the network’s closeness with the current occupant of the White House.

The Trump administration has released another batch of declassified UFO records, including previously unreleased footage from 1952 showing a group of unexplained objects moving through the sky over Utah.

Fox News senior White House correspondent Peter Doocy revealed the new material Friday after receiving a private briefing from administration officials inside the West Wing.

“I was summoned to an office in the West Wing yesterday for a private briefing about these files,” Doocy said during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

The material represents the sixth tranche of unidentified anomalous phenomenon, or UAP, records released by the administration as part of a broader declassification effort.

Among the most striking pieces of footage is film captured in 1952 by Navy aerial photographer Delbert Newhouse while traveling along a highway in Utah.

The video shows numerous objects moving through the sky in what Doocy said resembles a modern drone swarm — despite being recorded decades before drones became commonplace.

Doocy said officials located what they believe to be the original film in the National Archives and digitized it in 4K before making it public.

The new release also contains more recent encounters.

One video was recorded by a police officer on an iPhone along a busy Colorado highway in 2023. According to Doocy, the officer reported seeing multiple orb-like objects above a sensitive military facility for stretches lasting approximately 15 minutes.

The officer’s complete description was redacted from the publicly released documents, although Doocy said he was permitted to hear an unredacted account during his briefing.

A third video was captured by a drone operating over the Middle East in 2025.

That footage appears to show six unidentified objects traveling in formation. Doocy said Pentagon analysts reviewed the video but have not determined what the objects were.

Administration officials have emphasized that the release does not establish that any of the objects are extraterrestrial spacecraft. They remain unidentified based on the information currently available.

The latest documents also shed additional light on a $22 million Defense Intelligence Agency investigation involving unexplained phenomena at Utah’s Skinwalker Ranch.

Former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid helped secure funding for the program in 2008.

Newly declassified financial records document the government’s spending on the investigation, but White House officials told Doocy they have been unable to locate the reports detailing what investigators ultimately discovered.

Officials said evidence exists showing that a government contractor received and spent the money, but records containing the investigation’s conclusions either cannot currently be located or are no longer available to officials conducting the review.

The Trump administration began releasing UAP material in May under the Presidential Unsealing and Reporting System for UAP Encounters, or PURSUE.

That first release included government videos, photographs and documents involving unidentified objects, including images taken during Apollo missions and FBI records involving unexplained sightings.

The White House has described the project as an effort to increase public access to government information about unexplained aerial phenomena and allow Americans to examine the records themselves.

Officials from the Pentagon, intelligence community, FBI and NASA have participated in reviewing and releasing the material.

Doocy said Friday that even after the latest disclosure, federal officials still do not claim to know what many of the objects in the videos actually are.

Asked by “Fox & Friends” co-host Brian Kilmeade whether he personally knew what they were, Doocy jokingly responded: “Can’t say.”

The administration has indicated that additional UAP records are expected to be released as agencies continue reviewing previously classified material.
