An unverified report circulating online Monday afternoon is fueling speculation about President Donald Trump’s upcoming primetime address to the nation.
The claim, which has not been confirmed by the White House or any federal agency, alleges Trump could make a major announcement involving Georgia’s two Democratic U.S. senators.

The report, citing what it describes as a “well-placed source in Georgia,” claims Trump intends to declare Sens. Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are “illegitimate because of fraud” during his nationally televised address Thursday evening.
As of publication, neither President Trump nor the White House has confirmed the report, and no official agenda for Thursday night’s speech has been released.
The claim remains unverified.

Trump announced Monday on Truth Social that he would address the nation Thursday at 9 p.m. Eastern but did not disclose the topic.
Separately, CNBC, citing an MS NOW report based on two unnamed White House officials, reported that Trump is expected to discuss newly declassified intelligence concerning foreign plans to interfere in the 2020 presidential election.
Those reports avoided mentioning Ossoff or Warnock.
If the circulating claim proves accurate, it would come as the Trump administration has renewed its focus on allegations surrounding Georgia’s 2020 election.
Federal authorities have reopened investigations involving aspects of Georgia’s election administration, including ballot handling and other matters that administration officials say warrant additional review.
Democratic officials have strongly rejected those efforts, arguing that Georgia’s election results were confirmed through multiple recounts, audits and court proceedings.
Ossoff defeated then-Sen. David Perdue, while Warnock defeated appointed Sen. Kelly Loeffler, giving Democrats effective control of the Senate with then-Vice President Kamala Harris casting tie-breaking votes.
The victories also marked the first time in more than two decades that Georgia was represented by two Democratic senators simultaneously.
Both senators responded Monday evening to reports surrounding Trump’s upcoming speech.
Ossoff accused Trump of revisiting what he characterized as previously rejected election claims.
“Donald Trump’s spiral continues,” Ossoff wrote on social media.
“The failed president… is afraid to lose the midterms. So he will reheat debunked election conspiracy theories and tell bizarre new lies to deny his 2020 defeat and attack voting rights.”
Warnock also criticized the president.
“Donald Trump is at war with our democracy, and Georgia is ground zero,” he wrote.
“But this is John Lewis’ Georgia. We are not intimidated. We are not moved.”
Earlier this year, FBI agents executed a search at Fulton County’s election warehouse as part of a federal investigation examining alleged deficiencies involving the county’s handling of the 2020 election.
Fulton County officials have denied wrongdoing and have challenged portions of the federal investigation in court.

Until President Trump delivers his address or the White House releases additional information, there is no official confirmation that Thursday night’s speech will include any declaration regarding Georgia’s senators, The Huffington Post reported.
Should the president address the issue Thursday, the remarks—and any supporting evidence or documentation released alongside them—are likely to receive immediate scrutiny from lawmakers, election officials and legal experts.
