U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro made an appearance on her former news network Thursday evening, where she provided Fox News host Jesse Watters with a few additional details regarding the federal investigation into Minnesota ‘Squad’ Democrat Rep. Ilhan Omar.

To begin the segment, Watters asked Pirro about a name assigned to Omar in federal court documents seeking a search warrant of her DC home on Monday, which does not match the name she is currently using.
“Okay, judge, Ilhan Omar, is that her real name?” Watters asked.

“Her real name is Ilhan Nora Said Elmi. You had it absolutely right. Her sister is Sara Nur Said Elmi, and her sister actually wrote a book and talked about the fact that Ilhan is her sister,” Pirro began.
“So that is her name, and that name is almost identical to the name of the guy she married. Is that what is tipping you off?” Watters then inquired.
“Well, obviously, Jesse, I’m not going to tell you what’s tipping us off, but what I can tell you is this. There are a lot of questions that we have,” Pirro responded.
“And of course, you know, if…you have citizenship in this country, your derivative citizenship or your naturalization, your application will turn on precise information, and you have an obligation to report that precise information,” Pirro continued.
“So the question is, you know, who is Ilhan Omar, and has she followed all of the laws as it relates to naturalization and immigration?” the former Fox News host said.
“And of course, you know, my job as the United States Attorney in the District of Columbia is to go after all public corruption, and we do it whether we do it with police officers or maybe you’re involved in some kind of fraud or child sex trafficking, or a councilman who is alleged to take bribes in the amount of $156,000, or a military naval admiral who took bribery, or someone at the Federal Reserve who is selling secrets to China,” Pirro added.
“These are all situations where we make sure that, irrespective of whether you’re a Democrat or you’re a Republican, we’re coming after you. If you lie, and if you’re involved in public corruption,” she said.

“Just to confirm, Ilhan Omar is living and working in Congress under an alias,” Watters said.
“Well, you know, you’ll have to ask her what she considers her name. I mean, that is something that, you know, she can definitely tell you,” Pirro said.
“What we’re concerned about is whether or not she has followed the laws as it relates to the use of these names. And it’s kind of like Romeo and Juliet. Remember the capulets and montagues? It matters not who you are, but who you are not,” Pirro mused.

“Copy. I have to brush up on my Shakespeare. Judge. She’s denying that the feds have her DNA. Do you have her DNA?” Watters probed.
“I’m not going to answer that, Jesse. You know I’m not. But I can tell you something,” Pirro said.
“If the feds want your DNA, they don’t have to go into your house to get it. There are many ways to get an individual’s DNA, and I would imagine that most people in the audience know that as well,” she noted.
“Getting DNA doesn’t necessarily mean you have to show up and get some kind of a swab, buccal swab, as we call them. There are many ways to get them,” she concluded.

Omar gave an unusual response Wednesday when directly asked whether she was related to former husband Ahmed Nur Said Elmi.
She addressed the allegation during an interview with MS NOW host Chris Hayes, who noted that President Trump and other critics have repeatedly alleged that Elmi was Omar’s brother.
Asked whether there was any “weird kernel of truth” behind the accusation, Omar said: “Not to my knowledge.”
