WATCH LIVE: White House holds briefing as Signal controversy swirls

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt is briefing reporters after a journalist was inadvertently included in a Signal group chat of senior Trump administration officials about strikes against the Houthis.

The press briefing is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. from the White House in Washington, D.C.

Leavitt will brief the press as fallout from the Signal group chat continues into a third day, with the Atlantic releasing a new report detailing the strikes that Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth discussed in the chat.
